My sweet angel daughter(in-law) wrote ~

Hi. Here are a few pics of our most recent trip to Okracoke Island on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We flew into Raleigh Durham and spent our first day and night with Elliot's sister Julia. We had a very nice time with her, I love seeing Elliot and Julia "play" together. We spent the day walking around Chapel Hill shopping and catching up. Julia's friend Amanda was with us and was due to have her baby the next day. She was a nice question and answer person for me. Amanda actually gave birth on Monday to a little girl named Kyla!

From there we drove east to Cape Hatteras and headed south through Nags Head, Rodanthe, all the way to Okracoke Island.

In one of the pictures, you'll see a big house. This is the house from the new movie "Nights in Rodanthe" with Richard Gere and Diane Lane. People were stopped on the side of the road taking pictures. The house is beautiful in the movie, not so much in real life.

The rest of the pictures are of Elliot and I on the beach. I was sure to attach a few "belly" pictures since a lot of you have asked how big I am getting :). Baby West is sure growing!

I loved watching Elliot fly his kite. He had such a great time. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves so he was able to fly his kite everywhere.

We did a whole lot of relaxing, bike riding (everyone rides bikes everywhere in Okracoke), shopping, and lounging at the beach.

Our bed and breakfast was great, SO cute and it had great breakfasts in the morning.
 
We had a nice, relaxing get away. Now its time for BABY!
