Joe West, Jr.
(my brother number one)

Ultra-deluxe!  Today I picked up my new (2004 with 4688 miles) motorcycle!  My Baxter (and riding) buddy Richard West rode the bike to where I'm storing it.
My 16 hr. Rider Safety program begins 8/2 and the bike will remain stationary until completion in late August.
I've begun reading the course text and also have several well reviewed rider-skills books via Amazon.  Today I began shopping for a (full-face) helmet.
Notice that several of the photos show the bike with the touring bags removed.  That's the salesman's Model T Ford in the background.                Joe

"Here are a few images for you enjoyment---the complete design and color scheme is in, but it must all be gone over again to strengthen colors and sharpen lines---the photos may not show the splotchiness and inconsistencies of black and colors. So really the work is just barely past half way complete.

"Obviously my design is not a picture representing a thing, but is an ideogram (look that up in your dictionary) representing my being connected with the universe and the universe's connection with the infinite.

"The center figure is the sacred geometric Hunab Ku goddess of the Mayans, which is the window between the infinite and this universe---brings all movement and measure (life process and energies). The blue and orange intermeshing rays and what they are about I'll not bother you w/ now." - Joe
