"Spend an evening with the Midwest’s own Rick V. He
will talk about his work and his life, but he also wants to
answer your questions – the later half of the presentation
will be devoted to a semi-moderated dialogue.
"Rick has devoted over 25 years to creating design
that marries art with function. His passion for design and
embrace of new technologies creates a dynamic marriage of
imagery and inspiration. Rick’s strategic and creative
versatility continues to lead the discourse and pursue the
elusive ideals of intelligence and real human presence
within today's world of commerce.
"Rick has lectured on four continents and for the past
decade, and has contributed his energies to college and high
school students in the form of workshops, personal critiques
and conversation about design and professional practice. He
is a member of AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale)
awarded the 2004 AIGA Chicago Chapter Fellow."
comment from an attendee

The production was impressive and powerful.
Rick was phenomenal. He spoke from the heart. We witnessed
an outpouring of emotion . . . and strong, beautiful art.
Danese's friend is an artist.
He made this powerful bust, out of shoe soles:

Danese opened her home to me. She took good
care of me.

Danese has a lovely home. She is highly
creative and loving. |
